Sea urchins growing off the west coast of Vancouver Island grow with a texture reminiscent of old-world granulation techniques, and dragonskin!
Susan’s shells came from a beach near Banfield, on Vancouver Island. Interpreted as rings and earrings in sintered fine silver and paired with freshwater pearls, they sparkle like sunlight on the sea.
