I particularly like making things that look as though they grew by themselves. Currently I’m fascinated with spiral foldforming, as expressed in metal clay manipulated with wax sheet.

I’m also investigating how metal clays move when extruded over an inserted core. These forms are appealingly suggestive of organic tissues - folding, undulating, segmented and budding.
